Succeesful Real Estate Lead Generation Is In The Doing

In saying the obvious, so as to receive property leads you must take part in real estate lead generation. Actually you have to do lots of it. You can’t do it today, a couple hours following week or month. It has to be carried out daily.

Yes you can find some leads if you’re inconsistent. But for a true real estate professional, living a successful career as a top earning broker, you have to do real estate lead generation each and every day; to the rest of your career. This is non negotiable. OK?



In reality you must subscribe to this belief that dealing with business never takes preference over locating business. Doing direct generation regular must come before anything else gets done. If you don’t embrace this mantra you will allow other things to affect your day and this action will become insignificant and most likely will not get done. If you’re casual about it, then you’ll suffer casualties in your small business.

The Challenge

The biggest challenge most brokers face isn’t doing some lead generation but doing it consistently. It’s the one stumbling block that knocks most agents out of this ball park. It’s the critical daily activity that the successful agents adopt and people leaving the sector failed to not perform.

Time Blocking

You will need to devote time to performing so daily activity. It’s like creating an appointment on your own; one which can not be broken. You’ll face many temptations, usually coming from the ineffective agents in your workplace. Offers to truly have a very long lunch or slide out for coffee are fine but if they impede into your committed time of creating real estate prospects, then you must say “no”.

Realtor Leads blocking isn’t straightforward. It requires some discipline. However, before you get wrapped up about the word area, allow me to clarify that what I believe is performing a task consistently. To me that’s subject. Nobody is totally disciplined. They possibly in some areas of their own life but in others it might just be chaotic. Being disciplined to me is being constant.



Why do you work the long hours and put in the hard yards on your real estate career? Family to get a lot of people comes first.
And so therefore when you start your year, take out your calendar or diary and time block out your holidays for the year. As a result you prove to yourself and family they’re a priority. This includes not just the long trips away but program in a few mid week breaks or long four day weekends.

Second you must allocate every day to actually generating leads. I would suggest doing this in either a diary and on a wall or desk calendar. It is dependent upon your discipline to a degree, but one thing that I hear from realtors who targets carrying out their everyday activities is they don’t start their journal. A wall calendar is visual and exactly what the eye sees, the mind will do.
